GAS STATION BOMBING: More bombings and deaths were planned- Terrorist tells police

October 31, 2025
Had the bombing of the Mobil Fuel Station on Regent and King Streets taken place without incident for the terrorist and his group last Sunday, Guyana would have been hit by a wave of bombings and other terrorist related activities. This is according to Daniel Alexander Ramirez Peodomo, the terrorist who bombed the fuel station.
Under intense questioning from police detectives, Daniel Alexander Ramirez Peodomo also told detectives that he and his team scouted out the bombing location earlier that day.
He explained that they went to the location under the guise of purchasing chicken from the KFC outlet, which is also located on the Gas Station property. Someone went to get the chicken while Daniel Alexander Ramirez Peodomo and another individual surveilled the fuel station and its surroundings.
Eight people remain in police custody for the bombing, which claimed the life of a six-year-old child.
The police sought and were granted permission by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Navindra Singh, who extended the detention period for those in custody. The state is lawfully authorised to hold a suspect in custody for 72 hours without charge. Any attempt to keep someone beyond that 72 hours must first be granted by a Judge who will review an application by the police seeking an extension to keep the person in custody.
