Minister of Education, Sonia Parag, on Tuesday met with members of the National Library’s Board for discussions aimed at improving and expanding library services nationwide. Chief Education Officer Saddam Hussain also attended the meeting.

Officials provided the Minister with an update on the institution’s current programmes and services, along with ongoing initiatives to modernize operations and strengthen service delivery.

The engagement forms part of the Ministry’s broader effort to ensure that communities across Guyana have access to quality information, learning resources, and greater opportunities for personal development.
