Curfew remains midnight to 4am, other COVID-19 measures extended

The COVID-19 measures including the midnight to 04:00h curfew have been extended for the month of January. As such, many businesses are permitted to open upto 23:00h daily while hosting of private parties along with recreational activities at creeks and rivers remain prohibited.

Guyana ended 2022 with 1,054 COVID-19 deaths since the first case was recorded in March 2020.
