CHARRED REMAINS IN CAR: No foul-play suspected- Detective Source

Investigators have so far reportedly found no evidence of foul play in the death of Nirvana Algu, whose burnt remains were found in her vehicle on Sunday.
Big Smith News Watch understands that footage from security cameras along the East Bank of Demerara showed that Ms. Algu was the sole occupant of her car.
She is said to have been recently divorced from a well known city businessman.
The ex husband, who was questioned but reportedly not detained declined to comment on the case, merely saying that the police should be allowed to conduct their investigation.
When Big Smith News Watch visited the Abary Street, Bel Air Park resident where she had resided, an occupant stated that Ms. Algu had moved out about two weeks ago.
Police are checking on claims by individuals close to Nirvana Algu that she had suffered from depression during and after her divorce proceedings.

Ms. Algu was last seen alive in her car at around 16. 32 hrs at the Soesdyke junction.
Her vehicle was seen burning at Swan, off the Soesdyke/Linden highway.
The charred remains of an individual, believed to be Nirvana Algu, were later found inside.
The fact she has not been seen since seem to confirm that the remains are indeed Ms. Algu’s.
Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum said that investigators will collect samples from the remains and those of Algu’s close relatives for DNA testing.
