Building Expo Seminar hosts talks on greener construction

The Ministry of Housing and Water, through the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA), is currently hosting the second day of its Building Expo Seminar at the National Stadium, Providence.
Minister of Housing and Water, Collin Croal, and Minister within the Ministry Vanessa Benn are attending the event alongside officials from CH&PA.
The seminar features presentations and discussions centred on occupational safety, climate change and energy efficiency in the building and construction sector.
Representatives from financial institutions, including Demerara Bank Ltd., also delivered presentations, providing participants with information on financing options, opening new accounts, mortgages, and other loan products available to support homeownership and construction projects.
The event is scheduled to continue until 6:00 p.m. today.
