BREAKING…Trinidadian woman implicated in murder of Guyanese accountant Reagan Reece

By Michael Jordan
Trinidad Homicide sleuths appear to have solved the murder of Guyanese accountant Reagan Reece, whose bound and wrapped corpse was found in a grave several days after he vanished.
Big Smith News Watch understands that one of their prime suspects is a 25 year old woman, who resides at St. Francois Valley Road, Trinidad.
“An audience was held with Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions (DDPP) Mrs. H Paul and advice has been given to charge (name given) of St. Francois Valley Road with conspiracy to murder Reagan Reece, who was last seen on May 22, 2023,” a source told this publication.
Investigators have indicated that “financial gain” was the motive for Reece’s murder.
Reece, 45, of Nautilus Circular, Bon Air West, Arouca, reportedly vanished on June 22, 2023. He had recently visited a barber shop, reports stated.
He was wearing black three-quarter pants, black tee shirt and black sneakers and was last seen at Lopinot Junction, Arouca, driving his Hyundai Tucson. The vehicle had also vanished.
His corpse was found and exhumed on Sunday, July 23, from a grave in Windy Hill, Arouca, after police received a tip.
The Daily Express said that “at 2.45 p.m., homicide officers went to Palm Drive. About 100 feet off the road was an abandoned shack. Near the shack was a freshly dug mound, covered by a circularly wooden board. A cadaver dog and undertakers were brought.”
“Six feet down, they found the body, wrapped in cloth and plastic. There was a tattoo on the chest.” Possible cause of death was not stated.
According to reports out of Trinidad, police were told that Reece’s vehicle was spotted several times, and there was an attempt to sell it.
Indications are that the killing was well planned and was committed by at least two individuals, who would have had to subdue, tie, murder, then wrap and transport the body and bury it.
The wrapping of the corpse shows the care the killers took to keep investigators from tracing blood and other forensic evidence to them of the vehicle they used.
While there is no word on whether Reece’s mobile phone was found, detectives would have checked the victim’s phone records for his last contacts. Cell phone towers would also indicate where the instrument was last used.
Trinidad has been plagued with an escalating number of brutal murders and kidnappings in recent years. Many of the victims have not been located.
A source in Trinidad had surmised that the fact that Reece’s car was spotted following his disappearance indicated that he had been ‘taken.’
“And since no ransom was asked for that seems to suggest that he was most likely killed and dumped somewhere.” However the source stated that car thieves often left owners unharmed.
“Car theft is very rampant here, and his being taken too seems a bit off. “They scout the malls and take what vehicle they want.” An area known as The Bamboo’ is where “you get parts for any vehicle.’
“So car thieves go there to scrap vehicles and sell the parts. You hardly hear of them taking the driver.”
The Trinidad Anti-Kidnapping Unit and the non-profit Hunters Search and Rescue Team were involved in the search.
