Dr. Roger Luncheon passes

Former Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Cabinet Secretary and Presidential Advisor Dr. Roger Luncheon has died.

Dr. Luncheon died on Wednesday morning at the Georgetown Public Hospital. His time of death was recorded as 04:06hrs.

The Former Head of the Presidential Secretariat was ailing for a while and over the years had to be rushed to the hospital on several occasions.

Dr. Luncheon has been described as a true son of he soil by Former President and now Vice President Bharrat Jagdeo. Luncheon also served in the capacity of Cabinet Secretary during the presidency of Bharrat Jagdeo.

On July 17, last, Dr. Roger Luncheon celebrated his 74th Birth Anniversary.
