31-One-Year-Old Lisa Daniels of 604 Sophia, Greater Georgetown, was this morning stabbed to death by her boyfriend Meshack Benjamin in front of her two children, ages 12 and 6.

The incident took place at the home of the young lady during an argument the two had after the woman kept asking Benjamin to leave as she no longer wanted their four-month relationship to continue.

Benjamin who hails from Berbice, is reported to often display suicide tendencies whenever the two have misunderstandings and according to the brother in law of the deceased, Benjamin would ingest multiple tablets whenever there is a serious argument between him and the now dead woman.

Further to that, whenever the two have arguments, Benjamin would reportedly tell the woman that he has a gun buried in Berbice and that he can dig it up at any time.

This morning, family members were awakened to the screams of Lisa calling out to her sister who lives next door.

That sister then woke her reputed husband who went to see what was taking place and found Lisa sitting on a bed with blood ozing from several parts of the her body.

She was also holding onto the hand of Benjamin who had two knives in his possession, one in his hand and one in his waist.

The now-dead woman’s brother-in-law wrestled the weapons from Benjamin who is now in police custody.

This publication was informed that the woman bled to death. She appears to have been stabbed several times to the chest, arms and legs.

Both Lisa Daniels and Meshack Benjamin we’re up to Tuesday, employees of Atlas Security Company.

Benjamaine is in police custody.
