Athletes mentally prepared for CARIFTA – Anson Ambrose

The CARIFTA team departed earlier today for the CARIFTA Games in Grenada and one of the team’s coaches, Anson Ambrose highlighted that there was a strong focus on the mental side of competing during the last training camp before departure.

 

“This week we worked with them to mentally prepare them for the games and fine tune hownthey would approach their races so that they can be ready to go,”Ambrose stated.

Meanwhile, Ambrose highlighted the aim of the athletes ahead of their individual events at the games.

 

“The athletes are ready to go, they are mentally prepared and once they do their personal bests the should medal,” Ambrose highlighted.

 

The team departed earlier today for the games that are scheduled from April 4-6 in Grenada.
