One of the first of several planned activities, a four-aside football competition was played between the youths of Albouystown on the community’s tarmac at Hunter Street and Independence Boulevard Albouystown. Six teams participated including two females.

They were Top Strikers, Positive Ballers, Albouystown Stars, Little Ballers, Spartans, and Future Stars.

Coming out victorious for the male team was Positive Ballers, while second place went to Future Stars and Albouystown Stars copped third place. Meanwhile, Little Ballers copped first place for the female leaving Top Strikers with second.

Prizes were given to the first, second, and third place Winners. The most valuable players and most goal scorers were also given prizes.

Meals were provided to all, trophies, medals, and uniforms were donated by Attorney-at-law Anastasia Sanford, who has pledged her support in working with the community.
