Waitress/ daughter murdered by insecure Cuban National after visiting her brother
Cuban National Joel Rodrigues has confessed to killing his girlfriend, Tara Krishanran and her 11- year old daughter Larissa Persaud. The bodies of the victims were discovered at their Prince’s Street, Lodge home on Boxing Night. The man who was on the run was later captured in Linden. Sources close to the investigation related that the man killed the woman and her child on Christmas night.

This publication understands that the man had related that he and the Krishanran were imbibing on the said night at the home they shared. They were joined by a male friend of Krishanran who subsequently left. We understand that the late victim then informed Rodrigues that she was leaving to visit a relative and an argument ensued.

The man is said to have then murdered her and the child who witnessed the act. This publication understands that the man implied that he killed the child to prevent her from testifying against him.

Rodrigues is expected to be charged soon.
