Guyana successfully defended their Inter-Guiana Games futsal title with a 7–5 victory over Suriname in Paramaribo.
Jamal Fraser scored twice as the Guyanese side held off the hosts in a match featuring 12 goals.
The result completed an unbeaten campaign following Guyana’s 6–4 victory over French Guiana in their opening encounter.
Coaches Gregory Richardson and Jermain Junor guided the team through both matches, with the players maintaining their advantage against Suriname despite repeated pressure from the home side.
