Kato farmer dies after cutlass attack

A 29-year-old man has been detained as police investigate the death of Harold Agustin, a farmer from Kato, Region Eight, who reportedly died after being chopped to the neck.
According to reports, Agustin was relieving himself on Wednesday night, September 23, when the suspect, identified as Samuel Fredericks, allegedly approached him from behind and dealt him a chop to the neck with a cutlass.
Agustin succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, September 24. Fredericks was subsequently taken into police custody and is expected to be charged as investigations continue.
