Minister of Human Services and Social Security Dr. Vindhya Persaud, and team, visited Hackney Primary School in the Pomeroon River on Friday as part of President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali’s Cabinet Outreach to Region Two.

The officials engaged with residents, parents and teachers while overseeing the distribution of the *Because We Care* Cash Grant, ensuring the process was carried out smoothly and efficiently.

During the visit, they also listened to concerns raised by community members and reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to addressing issues affecting education and household welfare through practical interventions.

The outreach forms part of the Government’s wider programme of direct community engagement across the country aimed at delivering services and addressing concerns on the ground.
