$50,000 Bail for Victoria Plumber Facing Sexual Assault Charge

A 29-year-old plumber from Victoria Village, East Coast Demerara, was on Wednesday charged with sexual assault and granted bail following his appearance in court.
Osafo Collins, also known as “Blackboy,” was arrested by a rank attached to the Cove and John Police Station and charged on July 16, 2025, for the offence of sexual assault.
Collins appeared before Her Worship Orinthia Schmidt at the Cove and John Magistrate’s Court, where the charge was formally read to him.
He entered a not-guilty plea and was granted bail in the sum of $50,000.
The case was adjourned to July 30, 2025, for the disclosure of statements.
