Linden Food Vendor Found Dead Near Motorcycle
November 4 2024 – Detectives in Region 10 are investigating the suspected murder of 56-year-old Nigel Somersall, a food stall owner from West Watooka and Wismar Housing Scheme, Linden.
According to a police report, Somersall was discovered by his cousin early Monday morning, lying motionless next to his motorcycle around 5:00 a.m.
According to reports, at approximately 3:54 a.m., neighbors heard a motorcycle approaching Somersall’s residence on West Watooka Hill Top, followed by several suspected gunshots and the sound of a motorcycle hitting the ground.
Police were notified at around 5:30 a.m. and responded to the scene, where detectives were still actively processing evidence at the time of reporting.
