Agriculture Minister, Zulfikar Mustapha, is meeting with residents and farmers from No. 63 Village and nearby communities on the Corentyne Coast.

During the meeting, Minister Mustapha assured farmers that all dams in cultivation areas will undergo rehabilitation.

He also announced that planting materials will be made available, and that NAREI will collaborate with cash crop farmers to develop a program to identify the most lucrative crops for the region.

Additionally, eight farmers’ groups from the area have received tools and other inputs to boost their production.
