The Government has extended the International Building Expo to Tuesday, July 26, 2022. The ongoing Expo was scheduled to end on Sunday, July 24, 2022 but Minister of Housing and Water Collin Croal noted that this decision was taken following overwhelming responses from the public and exhibitors.

“Based on requests from exhibitors themselves, based on an evaluation of the thousands of persons we’ve seen visiting the Guyana National Stadium Friday and Saturday and even more expected Sunday, we are therefore pleased to announce that we will be extending the International Building Expo by two days,” Croal said.

For the remaining two days, there will be no entry fee to enter the stadium.

The Minister said security arrangements will remain in place to ensure the safety of all visitors and exhibitors.

The International Building Expo 2022 is being hosted at the Guyana National Stadium featuring several manufacturers and distributors of construction materials, service providers, private developers and Government agencies.
