63-Y-O Man Remanded in Child Rape Case

Pooran Bridglall, a 63-year-old man from Region 6, appeared before Magistrate Michelle Matthias at the Reliance Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, where he was charged with the rape of a 6-year-old child.
The accused was formally charged with the offense of rape of a child under 16 years. Due to the nature of the charge, Bridglall was not required to enter a plea.
Magistrate Matthias remanded him to prison.
He will make his next court appearance on October 16, 2025.
