61-year-old boat operator missing, last seen in the Mazaruni River area.

Police in Regional Division #7,  are currently searching for 61-year-old Carl Subarattie, a boat operator of Palmer’s Point, Lower Mazaruni who was reported missing to police at 19:20 hours on Monday.

 

According to the report which was filed by the missing man’s brother Anderson, about 09:00 hrs on Monday, Carl left his home to drop another brother Simon at Marshall’s Point Backdam, Lower Mazaruni River and after dropping the brother off he left to return home but was never seen since.

 

A search was made in the area but neither Carl nor his boat have been seen. Searches are continuing.
