18-Y-O Sentenced to Three Months for Unlawful Wounding

An 18-year-old farmer from Supenaam, Essequibo Coast, has been sentenced to three months’ imprisonment after pleading guilty to a charge of unlawful wounding.
Shemroy Creame was charged under Section 50 of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act, Chapter 8:01, in connection with an incident that occurred on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Supenaam Waterfront.

During the altercation, a 27-year-old farmer from the same community sustained injuries, prompting legal action.
Creame appeared before Her Worship Tamieka Clarke at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court on Friday, July 4, 2025. After the charge was read to him, he pleaded guilty and was handed a three-month custodial sentence.
