Foreign Affairs Minister Hugh Todd has laughed off comments on social media that he is without a visa to the United States. Todd was sworn in as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in August after the five month elections.  “My visa is revoked” Todd asked when this publication caught up with him in Region Six, during the recent presidential outreach, “my last visit to the United States was in December last year,” Todd chuckled.

The Minister said he has not travelled for this year after he regained his composure, “I am not aware that they revoked my visa, if anyone has information they should let me know but I am not aware,” Minister Todd said.

The Minister has represented the country at several high level meetings ,virtually. Such meetings are the norm due to the COVID 19 measures worldwide.
