Wilson Hattrick and McArthur brace highlights Season 5 KFC Elite League

Guyana’s flagship senior football league restarted after a lengthy lay-off (since 2019), and fans were treated to 2 exciting fixtures.
On the night, Police FC would come against Fruta Conquerors in game 2, meanwhile, Western Tigers, winners of the most recently concluded GFA League, face off with Milerock FC out of Linden. Both games were slated to be played at the Police Ground Eve Leary.
In the first game, Western Tigers needed just one half to convince us that they were the superior side in the fixture. Favorite to win the game, it would take Western Tigers just 3 minutes to tally the first goal through Daniel Wilson. By the end of the first half, Western Tigers were up 4-0 against Milerock. The game would finish at an embarrassing 10-0 margin with Daniel Wilson bagging a hattrick and Tyrrell netting a brace for the West Ruimvedlt side.
In the second game, one that promised to be much more even than the lopsided first game, Police FC proved themselves the superior side by dominating both halves of the match. While the game started off a bit slow, in my estimation, it was Wayne Dover’s side who would open their account first, through a strike by Nicholas McArthur. McArthur would, later on, make it 2-0 in the 83rd minute, completing his brace.
Games continue on Tuesday night at the Police Ground Eve Leary.
