The right man is in police custody for the deadly bombing at the Mobil Fuel Service Station at Regent and King Streets on Sunday night, October 26, 2025.
On Wednesday evening, Daniel Alexander Ramirez Peodomo was positively identified as the man who attempted to place a garbage bag with a bomb into a bin at the gas station.
As he was denied that opportunity, he then planted the bomb at another section of the Gas Station and later detonated it, killing a 6-year-old girl in the process and injuring several others.
Daniel Alexander Ramirez Peodomo was identified by the female pump attendant who stopped him from placing the bomb into the garbage bin next to her.
She reached out to BIG Smith News Watch to say that on Wednesday night, she went to a police station where the suspect was being held, and there were several people lined up.
When they lined up the people, I saw him, I saw a man who I saw at the gas station Sunday night, and I pointed him out to the police,” she told BIG Smith News Watch.
Security officials on Tuesday noted that the suspect entered Guyana illegally via boat earlier in the day of the explosion.
He identified himself as belonging to a gang in Venezuela with ties to the Sindicato Gang in that country.
