September 7 2025
Police have arrested one person in connection with the savage gun attack on 33-year-old Lolita Callender, known as Lola Doll, who was riddled with bullets outside her East Ruimveldt home late Saturday night.
According to a police report, the shooting unfolded around 11:35 p.m. at Texas Square, when Callender was ambushed in her motor car.
Investigators said a man on a motorcycle pulled up alongside her vehicle and unleashed a hail of gunfire at close range before escaping into the darkness.
The attack left Callender with devastating injuries.
She was shot in the neck, face, hands, and right leg, collapsing in her blood-soaked car before being rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC). Doctors confirmed she remains in a critical condition.
Police have since detained one individual who is assisting with the investigation, while ranks continue to hunt for the suspected motorcycle gunman. CCTV footage from the area is also being reviewed.
The brazen shooting, which residents described as “execution-style,” has sent waves of fear through Texas Square, where neighbours were left shaken by the rapid bursts of gunfire and the chilling sight of Callender’s wounded body slumped in her car.
Investigations are ongoing.
