Sexual harassment reports by female police recruits swept under carpet after officer apologized to Deputy Commissioner

A senior police officer who is no stranger to sexual harassment claims being leveled against him is again in the spot light accused of a similar conduct after several young female police recruits from the Felix Austin Police College came forward and produced the evidence of the harassment to a Deputy Commissioner of Police.
BIG Smith Crime Watch has been reliably informed that the senior officer who is stationed at Force Headquarters, Eve Leary has been engaging in a series of sexual advancements to the female police recruits, mostly who are in training at the Felix Austin Police College.
According to information and a recording which Big Smith Crime Watch has been preview too, the matters were brought to a Deputy Commissioner of Police who summoned the officer to a meeting along with the young ladies who it was reported, the officer was making sexual advances to and even taking them out of the college at nights in turn before sneaking them back into the facility.
In a recent meeting with the Deputy Commissioner of Police, the senior officer was confronted with the allegations of the sexual harassment and when he denied, the mobile phones of the young police recruits were then taken away and messages which were sent to them by the senior officer through Facebook messenger, WhatsApp, and SMS were retrieved and shown to the officer in the presence of the Deputy Commissioner, the female recruits and other officers.
Confronted with the evidence, the senior officer in the very meeting apologized to the young ladies and assured the Deputy Commissioner of Police that he would not continue with the practice and that he was sorry.
However earlier this week, a trainee again reportedly was picked up by the very senior officer and they left the confines of the College and Eve Leary together. After some time has elapsed, the officer returned and the female recruit was seen sneaking into the compound to make her way up to the barracks room.
There have been several instances in the past where this very senior police officer was accused by junior ranks of sexual harassment and when those issues are raised at the administrative level of the force, the matters die a natural death.
A number of young women who recently graduated as police at the most recent police passing out parade are said to be among the prey of the senior officer who seems to be targeting new recruits.
It is unclear if despite the apology and the damming evidence which the Deputy Commissioner managed to personally review, were used as grounds to initiate an internal investigation into the conduct of the officer who continues to function in his substantive capacity or if this latest incident like all others, will be swept under the carpet.
Sexual harassment in the workplace is a global issue and one that has been the subject of numerous studies, reports and recommendations on how to address the issue, deal with the perpetrators and provide support to the victims who are most often afraid to speak out as a large percentage of the acts are done by seniors in the workplace who oftentimes use their authority and position to cover up the matters.
