On July 16 last, the contractor was standing n D’Urban Street conversing with others when a lone gunman showed up and open fire on him before fleeing the scene.

Eyewitnesses did say to police detectives that the shooter was an identifiable individual. The police last week picked up a businessman in connection with the murder last week.
