Popular 'NTN this morning' host dies suddenly

DEAD: Reyaz Husein

Popular Television Personality Reyaz Husein has died. Reyaz, a father of two was pronounced dead on arrival at the Blawant Singh Hospital on Thursday night after complaining of feeling unwell.

Husein became a household name for hosting ‘NTN This Morning’ which was is usually aired Mondays through Fridays on NTN Channel 69 for the past twenty-four years.

Reyaz last hosted his program on Thursday morning and at that time of hosting, ‘seemed ok’.

Husein later returned to the television station where there was a little get-together for staff and following that he took his family for a drive and then went home. Shortly after, he complained of feeling unwell and was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

This publication was told that Husein suffered from diabetes but was ensuring that he took care of his health condition and stayed away from certain foods.

Reyaz who was also an educator who operated his own private school was also an avid cricket enthusiast who also served as part of the executive of the Flood Light Soft Ball Association.

He leaves to mourn his wife, two children, colleagues at NTN and a number of fans.
