The home of a policewoman in Linden was riddled with bullets early Sunday morning according to police sources in the Mining Town.

A warhead left behind from the shooting up of the policewoman’s home

BIG Smith Crime Watch was informed that the police woman whose name was given as Green recently got a promotion.

Speaking with BIG Smith Crime Watch, someone close to the policewoman was asked about any special case she may have been working or there is any specific matter to which she may a party to and we were only told that “she was recently promoted to corporal”

The response seeks to give the impression that the family is llinking the riddling of the house to the recent promotion.

BIG Smith Crime Watch was told the policewoman who is stationed in Linden is fearful for her life since she is not sure who might ha e done the act and what the real motive  behind shooting up her home might be.

In images which were seen by this publication, there were warheads, spent shells, shattered windows and pierced walls.

The police woman has since provide her colleagues with statements in the matter and the police are said to be investigating the very frightening developments.

Several years ago, policemen and women in Guyana could not walk freely in their uniforms or even be identifed as police officers for fear of being targeted and in worst case scenarios, killed.

This prompted a review of several postures to ensure the safety of the lawmen and women.
