TWENTY two year old Yashmine Ramsook and 30 year old Mona Singh both of Lot 3 #36 Village, Corentyne, Berbice are expected to appear at the No. 51 magistrate Court on Thursday.

The two ended up at the police outpost after Yashmine Ramsook who was driving motorcar PTT 5628, reportedly struck a parked vehicle and drove away without stopping.

A police patrol vehicle caught up with her after intercepting her at Port Mourant and directed her back to Rose hall outpost where a breathalyzer test revealed that he was below the legal limit of alcohol consumption.

In the video the women were hearing cursing police officers, cursing while on the phone and one was even seen pushing a uniformed police officer. The women also threatened to have the police ranks who were on duty at time, fired and or transfer even as they promised to called Security Minister Khemraj Ramjattan

Mona Singh who is the sister of Ramsook, was in the vehicle at the time of the accident. A further update will be given later. The police has promised to provide another update in this matter.
