Muneshwers pulls together multi-company Breast Cancer Awareness program

Muneshwers pulls together multi-company Breast Cancer Awareness program

Muneshwers Travel Agency located on Water Street in Georgetown on Friday brought together a number of businesses and organisations under one roof to celebrate with persons who are battling Breast Cancer, those who have survived it and those who show support to persons affected by the disease.

Last Friday marked an annual event that is hosted by the travel agency and which featured activities inclusive of testimonies, experiences and information on how to identify, care and treat Breast Cancer.

General Manager of the travel agency Collin Changur said the event was successful and one which allowed persons who are affected by Breast Cancer to share a comfortable space and environment where there is support and love.

The event featured presentations from Muneshwers Travel Service, creative art display and prayers and worship.

Representatives from the Periwinkle Breast Cancer Foundation located in Iguana Street North Ruimveldt were recipients of a cash donation and an airline ticket presented by Muneshwers Travel Service.’ GM Collin Changur.

Prizes from The Ramanda Hotel Georgetown, The Marriott Hotel Guyana, Nikita’s Beauty Salon and hampers compliments of Muneshwers Limited were won by breast cancer survivors and other attendees.

Shamdas Kirpalani, Avinash and Bibi along with Jitoos store also made donations to the survivors. Presentations of motivational and informative discussions were done by representatives from the Theatrical and Arts and pageantry industries.

Dr. Ravi who represents the Guyana Cancer Foundation once again delivered vital information and tips to those gathered for the event.
