Min Bharrat Engages Reg 9 Miners
October 25 2024 – Minister of Natural Resources Vickram Bharrat, recently visited Lethem, where he met with the executive team of the Rupununi Miners Association, as well as miners from Aranaputa and surrounding villages.
The visit provided an opportunity for discussions on challenges facing the local mining sector and explored ways to enhance collaboration between the ministry and local miners.
Minister Bharrat’s engagement underscored the government’s commitment to supporting sustainable development and addressing the unique needs of miners in the region.
