The Pizza Napoletana STG Masterclass in Guyana concluded on Wednesday evening after two days of intensive training, creativity and hands-on pizza making exercises.

The masterclass was hosted by Scuola Pizzaioli and the Delegation of the European Union in Guyana, with support from the Embassy of Italy and the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce. Participants enhanced their knowledge of the traditional art of Neapolitan pizza while testing their skills in a series of practical challenges and competitions.

In the General Category, Lisa Hamilton secured first place, followed by Alex Tenorio in second and Shane Samuels in third.

Alex Tenorio captured the top spot in the Neapolitan Pizza Category, with Lisa Hamilton placing second and Jacqueline Deabreu finishing third.

Hamilton also emerged victorious in the Guyanese Gourmet Pizza Category, while Shane Samuels placed second and Hakeem Paul claimed third.

Hamilton’s standout performance earned her multiple top finishes across the competition categories, making her one of the most successful participants of the event.
