Minister of Housing and Water Collin Croal met with a number of contractors at the Arthur Chung Conference Center on Monday, for discussions on the progress of work on Young Professional Houses that are currently being constructed at La Bonne Intention (LBI).

The meeting provided valuable insights into the status and progression of the construction works. It also offered a platform for the contractors to voice their challenges and concerns experienced during the construction process.

The engagement additionally set the stage for greater expediency among the contractors, a move designed to facilitate the accelerated handover of homes to their beneficiaries.

Also present at the meeting were Mr. Intakab Indarjeet, Deputy Director – Projects Department; Ms. Gaitree Ramawad, Operations Manager- Land Allocation Department; and Mr. Randolph Hunte, Civil Engineer- Projects Department, who also contributed their unique perspectives and expertise at the meeting, ensuring a comprehensive discussion around the project’s progress and challenges.
