Georgetown, Guyana – November 17, 2025 – The Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo is pleased to announce that CNOOC Petroleum Guyana Limited (CPGL) has reaffirmed its commitment as a Platinum Sponsor for the upcoming 2026 event.

This marks the fifth consecutive year of CNOOC’s platinum-level support, making them a foundational partner
since the conference’s inception.

The 2026 Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo is scheduled for 17th -20th February at the Georgetown Marriott Hotel, under the theme “Building Tomorrow’s Future Today”. The event is set to be the largest gathering of energy sector leaders, policymakers, and supply chain experts in the region.

As a cornerstone partner in Guyana’s burgeoning energy sector and a 25% working interest partner in the Stabroek Block, CPGL’s continued sponsorship underscores the company’s deep commitment to Guyana’s economic development and the strategic importance of this premier industry platform. “We are immensely grateful for CPGL’s unwavering support over the past five years.

Their consistent partnership as a Platinum Sponsor since day one has been instrumental in the growth and success of this conference,” said Mr. Anthony Whyte, Chairman of the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo. “CPGL as a sponsor are a pillar of the event and a vital contributor to the narrative of Guyana’s energy transformation.

Their continued involvement signals a strong, long-term commitment to fostering dialogue, partnership, and development within the region.”

The Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo serves as the central hub for discussing the future of energy in Guyana and the wider Caribbean and Latin American region. It facilitates critical conversations on investment, local content, technological innovation, and sustainable development.

“We are proud to continue our platinum sponsorship of the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo, an event that has become a cornerstone for the energy industry in this dynamic region,” said Mr. Lian Jihong, President of CPGL. “Our partnership since its inception reflects our dedication to Guyana and our belief in the power of collaboration. CPGL is proud of its local presence and the community investment projects to date. We look forward to engaging with stakeholders, showcasing our commitment to safe and responsible operations.

CPGL and the larger CNOOC family believe in forming a long-term bond that is based on the foundation of win-win partnerships to deliver world class development for Guyana. CNOOC looks forward to exploring new opportunities for growth, infrastructure development and local capacity building.”

As a Platinum Sponsor, CPGL will have a prominent presence at the event, featuring an extensive exhibition booth and participating in high-level panel discussions.
