Education Minister Inspects Expansion Works at Bush Lot Secondary School

Minister of Education, Sonia Parag, on Tuesday visited the Bush Lot Secondary School, West Coast Berbice, Region Five, to assess progress on the school’s ongoing expansion project.
During the visit, Minister Parag met with the project contractor and emphasized the importance of meeting short-term deadlines to ensure that the works are completed on schedule.
The contractor assured that safety measures are being maintained, with all machinery and materials secured away from students.
Minister Parag was accompanied by Regional Chairman Recardo Phillips, former Member of Parliament Faizal Jaffarally, Regional Executive Officer Sadiek Ishmael, and Senior Regional Engineer Dhanpaul Sukha.
The Ministry of Education reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving education delivery through the construction and upgrading of modern school facilities nationwide.
