The Dream Realised Housing Drive is underway at the International Building Expo 2025, drawing hundreds to the Guyana National Stadium as residents take the opportunity to address their housing needs.

The four-day exercise, which opened today, will facilitate the signing of sale agreements, the distribution of land titles and transports, and the issuance of steel and cement vouchers. More than 2,000 persons are expected to benefit by the conclusion of the event.

While the housing drive continues in one section of the venue, the main expo is also in full swing, featuring approximately 400 booths from local and international businesses. Exhibitors from India, Barbados, the Dominican Republic, Trinidad, and other countries are showcasing cutting-edge construction technology, green building innovations, and creative home improvement solutions.

Held under the theme “The Road to Success, Guyana 2030 and Beyond,” the expo runs until August 17 and is expected to attract thousands of visitors. Opening day offered free admission from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a $500 entry fee for adults and children aged 12 and over applied from 9:01 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. From Friday through Sunday, gates open from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
