BREAKING NEWS: Police ordered to stop all tint enforcement exercise immediately

November 28,2025
The Guyana Police Force has been instructed to immediately cease all tint enforcement exercises across the country.
“The orders came from way up stairs” a source told BIG Smith News Watch this morning.
Minister of Home Affairs Oneidge Walrond two weeks ago during an interview with BIG Smith News Watch said she saw no correlation between a tinted motorcar and crime.
Two days ago, the minister said all police officers must remove the tinted from their private motor cars.
As the public backlash creeped in, and images began to surface of senior police officers vehicles beating heavy tint, the minister then modified her statement to stay all subordinate police ranks must remove their tint and that her initial statement was not meant for the senior officers.
A communication by Deputy Commissioner of Police Errol Watts which was communicated to respective police division, targeted the tint on junior ranks and force vehicles driven by officers and divisional commanders.
On Friday morning, the whole tint baby party party was quashed with direct instructions… desist the tint exercise.
“Traffic heads good morning with immediate effect you are to have your ranks desist from carrying out any exercise or exercises for tints. This is for strict compliance” was the message that divisional traffic officers woke up to on Friday morning.
