Body Found in Barrel at LeRepentir Cemetery Identified as Vagrant

Police have confirmed that the man whose decomposing body was discovered in a barrel at the Le Repentir Cemetery on Christmas Day has been identified as a vagrant.
A senior police official told BIG Smith News Watch that the victim was identified by a relative.
At this time, the circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.
On Thursday, December 25, police ranks responded to a report and found the body inside a barrel in the vicinity of Louisa Row and St. Stephen Street within the cemetery.
The remains were subsequently taken to the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
Police investigators have indicated that they will be reviewing CCTV footage from areas surrounding the cemetery as part of ongoing investigations into the incident.
