Baby Died From Suffocation – PM Results
Police have confirmed that at approximately 08:45 hrs this morning, Government Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh conducted a post-mortem examination with dissection on the body of Kyrie Anthony Nelson, the three-month-old infant who tragically passed away at around 14:02 hrs on Friday, June 28.
The incident occurred at Mya’s Pre-school and Day Care Centre, located at Lot 164 Samatta Point Grove, Kaneville, East Bank Demerara.
Reports indicate that the daycare, which houses approximately 25 children daily, was operating illegally.
The examination took place at the Georgetown Public Hospital’s Mortuary.
Upon completion, Dr. Nehaul Singh determined that the cause of death was ‘Suffocation’.
