CXC, CAPE, CVQ results to be released today!

The Ministry of Education is set to release the preliminary results of the 2026 Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) examinations today, giving the first indication of how Guyana’s candidates performed in this year’s examinations.

The results will cover the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC), Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) and Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) examinations.

The announcement is expected to be made during a ceremony hosted by the Ministry at the Guyana Marriott Hotel. The event will also recognise the achievements of students and highlight Guyana’s overall performance in the 2026 examinations.

A total of 13,032 candidates were registered for this year’s CSEC examinations, comprising students from public and private secondary schools across the country.

The release of the preliminary results will provide students, parents, teachers and schools with an early look at the performance of Guyana’s candidates, ahead of the finalisation of the examination results.
