FETUS FOUND FLOATING IN ROADSIDE TRENCH

Shock and disbelief gripped early-morning passersby on Friday after a fetus was discovered in a trench along the Eccles Dumpsite Road at approximately 10:00 hrs.
The tiny body was seen floating face down in the trench, with what appeared to be the umbilical cord and placenta still attached—an unsettling sight that left those at the scene deeply disturbed.
It remains unclear whether the fetus was already dead before being discarded.
The grim discovery prompted immediate alarm, with persons quickly summoning the police to the location.
