15-Y-O feared drowned after falling off Jet Ski

A 15-year-old student is feared drowned following an incident at Hot and Cold Lake, Onderneeming, Essequibo Coast, on Monday afternoon.

 

Arif Azeez of Adventure was reportedly at the lake with friends around 16:30 hrs when he fell off a jet ski and disappeared beneath the water.

 

An alarm was quickly raised, prompting immediate search efforts by persons in the area.

 

According to police, up to late Monday, searches were still ongoing as attempts continue to locate the teenager.
