November 5 2024 – Authorities have detained three individuals in connection with the alleged murder of 56-year-old food vendor Nigel Somersall, from West Watooka and Wismar Housing Scheme, Linden.

According to a police report, yesterday evening, 55-year-old contractor Calwyn Croal, known as “Brother Croal,” surrendered to police at the Wismar Police Station, accompanied by his attorney.

His arrest comes as part of an ongoing investigation into Somersall’s death.

Earlier in the day, police also detained two other suspects for questioning: Jamal Fullington, a 22-year-old construction worker and miner from Victory Valley, Wismar, and Shaquan Miller, a 19-year-old pork-knocker from Blueberry Hill, Wismar. Both were taken into custody around 12:45 p.m.

Authorities continue to investigate, gathering evidence and witness statements in pursuit of a resolution to the case.
