Police probing abduction linked to Durban St. execution kills

Police detectives are following leads to locate Joshua David called ‘Brick’. On Thursday, September 26, 2024, David was abducted and forced into a car while on Main Street in Georgetown.

Joshua David who works in the interior, was snatched in front of the New Thriving Chinese Restaurant where he and a friend went to purchase food.

CCTV footage showed the abductors arriving with two motorcycles and a car. David was forced into the car and took off north along Main Street and onto Lamaha Street. The last sighting of the car was along the East Coast of Demerara.

This publication was told that the abduction of David is being treated as one that is linked to the execution shooting on Durban Street in August. David is alleged to have been one of the individuals in the car that opened fire on a group of men who had just exited a party.

Anthony Havercome and Lawrence Wayne called ‘Boy Boy’ were killed as a result of the shooting while several other persons were injured.
