Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo 2025 Launched

The Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo 2025 was officially launched today during a ceremony at the Guyana Marriott Hotel in Georgetown.
The event, scheduled to take place from February 18 to February 21, 2025, will be held under the theme “Connecting the Dots, Integrating the Future.”
Kiana Wilburg, CEO of the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo, announced that the event is expected to draw nearly 7,000 delegates, featuring over 180 booths and hosting more than 70 speakers.
She also revealed that, even before today’s launch, 82 companies had already confirmed their participation, with 100 booths sold.
ExxonMobil Guyana’s President, Alistair Routledge, expressed the company’s pleasure in continuing its title sponsorship for the fourth consecutive year.
He noted that the conference has grown in size and effectiveness each year, consistently introducing new perspectives to the industry.
Dr. Peter Ramsaroop, Head of Go-Invest Guyana, praised the private sector for its active collaboration with the government, highlighting that Go-Invest is prepared to support investors interested in the opportunities the expo will showcase in February.
He emphasized the government’s role in enabling private sector growth.
Minister of Natural Resources, Vickram Bharrat, delivered the keynote address, highlighting that new elements are being added to the conference for 2025.
He praised CEO Kiana Wilburg for her leadership and vision, expressing confidence in her ability to elevate the event to new heights.
Minister Bharrat also extended his gratitude to ExxonMobil and other sponsors, hoping that the conference will continue to grow into one of the world’s premier events.
He stressed that while the conference will attract interest in the oil and gas sector, it will also spotlight opportunities across various industries, reflecting the diverse economic foundation of Guyana.
