An award ceremony was held last evening to honor key stakeholders in the mining sector as part of the ongoing Mining Week activities, which run from August 25th to 31st under the theme “LCDS 2030: Adapting to Change, Overcoming Vulnerability, Forging Sustainability.”

The event recognized outstanding contributions across various areas within the mining industry, including gold, sand, bauxite, quarry, diamonds, and top goldsmiths, among others.

The awards highlight the sector’s commitment to excellence and its role in advancing sustainable practices in line with the Low Carbon Development Strategy (LCDS) 2030.
