An ongoing cricket match between the Ministry of Home Affairs and the combined Regional Police Divisions 4 ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams is in full swing at the Police Sports Club Ground at Eve Leary.

The combined team from Regions 4 ‘A’ and ‘B’ set a competitive target, scoring 122 runs in their allotted 20 overs. As the match reached its halfway point, the Ministry of Home Affairs team found themselves struggling at 46 runs with six wickets down.

Commissioner of Police Clifton Hicken attended the event, his presence underscored the importance of sports in fostering camaraderie and teamwork within the police force and its associated entities.

These matches are a part of ongoing efforts to promote physical fitness and team spirit among law enforcement officers and staff within the Ministry of Home Affairs.
