Police Sergeant killed in Montrose Crash

25 Year Old Police Sergeant Ronaldo Brummel was on Saturday morning killed after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car.

Multiple eye witnesses have confirmed that Brummel was heading in the direction of Georgetown when a car made a U-Turn infront of him.

The accident took place in front of Massy Store at Montrose, East Coast Demerara just after 01:00hrs Saturday morning.

The driver of the car has been identified as 27 Year Old Ravin Ramdeo Singh of Lot 2 Public Road Montrose. He was at the time driving motorcar PNN 3100.

Singh after the crash told police traffic officers that he only had a few beers.

Sergeant Ronaldo Brummel was a traffic rank attached to the Commissioner of Police Secretariate.
