Dead: Kirwyn Mars

Educator and performer of the Arts Kerwin Mars was killed just under a hour ago.

BIG Smith News Watch has been informed that the incident took place at Perseverance Housing Scheme, Providence, East Bank Demerara.

Police Sources have indicated that “Sir Mars” as he is popularly called, was in a vehicle with another person when they had a misunderstanding. It is alleged that Mars got out of the vehicle and the person reversed the vehicle, running him over in the process.

At the moment, the police are at the scene even as the body of the educator lays motionless on the roadway with a part of the vehicle’s wheel on him.

This is a developing story.
